NEW YORK, N.Y. – Hunter Public Relations, a leading mid-sized consumer products public relations firm, today announced the return of Erin Brennan Hanson to the agency and her appointment as partner.
Hanson joins Managing Partner Grace Leong and senior partners Jonathan Lyon and Jason Winocour in heading up the New York City-based agency’s growing health and beauty, and home and lifestyle practices. With 15 years of experience in public relations and holistic brand program development, Hanson brings global consumer packaged goods marketing expertise to Hunter Public Relations’ client roster of respected companies and brands, including Johnson & Johnson and McNeil, as well as GOJO’s Purell hand sanitizer.
Hanson first joined Hunter Public Relations in 1999, where over a nine-year span she developed equity campaigns for iconic brands at companies including Callard & Bowser/Altoids, 3M, Kraft and Johnson & Johnson. Most notably, she managed the award-winning Altoids Curiously Strong Collection contemporary art program and the Scotch Brand Most Gifted Wrapper Contest.
In 2008, Hanson joined MSLGROUP as a senior vice president in the global consumer practice where she served as the global account director for Procter and Gamble’s Home Care portfolio, designing public relations campaigns for popular household brands such as Swiffer, Mr. Clean and Febreze.
Hanson later served as general manager of the MSL Singapore office for 15 months overseeing the corporate, technology and consumer practices for clients including P&G, Alcon, Pratt & Whitney and ZF. While overseas, Hanson was instrumental in helping P&G shape its London 2012 Olympic Games sponsorship campaign and social media efforts in the Asia-Pacific region. In addition to her work on P&G corporate communication and reputation, Hanson led regional public relations strategy for P&G’s health and well-being portfolio in Asia, including Oral B and Whisper.
“We are thrilled to welcome Erin back as a partner,” Leong said. “She brings us a global perspective and combined with her track record of demonstrating unparalleled client service, creativity and leadership, we know that Hunter Public Relations is poised to provide an even greater level of service and attention to our clients and team members.”
A graduate of Cornell University, Hanson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication.
